ADNET Re-Appraised at CMMI Level 3

ADNET Systems, Inc. was re-appraised at CMMI Level 3 on February 17, 2012. Following a rigorous Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) Class A formal appraisal, ADNET was deemed to be compliant in all 18 process areas. SCAMPI appraisals are used to identify strengths and weaknesses of current processes, reveal development/acquisition risks, and determine capability and maturity level ratings. Through CMMI, we measure our performance across the 18 process areas, both internally and externally in customer programs, incorporating standard, repeatable processes that bear out opportunities for process improvement.

ADNET initially achieved a CMMI Maturity Level 2 rating on May 4, 2007. On February 27, 2009, ADNET achieved its initial CMMI Level 3 rating.

ADNET, founded in 1991, is an award-winning federal contractor supporting the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and West Virginia University, among others. ADNET has reaped several high profile awards and accolades, including: the 2008 and 2009 Goddard Small Business Contractor of the Year, the first time in the 25+ year history of the award that a small company won in consecutive years; and was Goddard’s 2009 and 2011 nominee for NASA’s prestigious George M.
