ADNET Wins First Contract at Department of Interior

ADNET continues its growth with a significant win as a subcontractor to SGT, Inc., at the Department of Interior’s U.S. Geological Survey’s Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) data center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This five-year, approximately $200M contract supports EROS, which is the primary data processing, archiving, and distribution center for the LANDSAT remote-sensing satellite, as well as being the Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP-DAAC): the national data center for studies involving vegetation, erosion, and other climate change indicators. ADNET will support satellite data processing, development and implementation of archiving and data distribution strategies, multimedia production, help desk support, and outreach tasks.
