ADNET provides software engineering support for a wide variety of systems, customers and environments. We provide programming support to the Department of Labor (DOL) Office of the Solicitor (SOL), the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
Software Engineering services have included:
Development of scripts for science processing systems which interface with specialized hardware components

Development of security logs in screens to provide an added layer of authentication prior to allowing access to mission critical applications

Development of search engines to improve database access across platforms, and

Development of software that filters and publishes spacecraft data and subsequently generates an automatic notification to users when anomalies occur.
Department of Labor - Office of Solicitors (SOL)
ADNET established user documentation, programming information and procedures for software development for the various DOL SOL (Office of Solicitors) databases. DOL required a real-time reporting system to monitor resource expenditures. ADNET created a search engine that not only reports expenditures but also uses weighted factors and historic data to project future costs. We provided quick-reference guides for all COTS hardware and software used by SOL, which has significantly reduced maintenance downtime.
Army Corp of Engineers
ADNET manages operation of the US Army Corps HQ Hummingbird electronic document management system that is linked to all desktop Microsoft Office applications.
In addition, we develop, support, and manage operations for their Corps-wide information management and extraction to include: Document Library, Staff Action Control, Legal Community of Practice, Opinion Survey, and Digital Visual Library applications. Collaborative computing is provided by Cisco MeetingPlace, NetMeeting, Groove, Tomoye, and Autonomy systems.
NASA
ADNET developed programs to monitor and parse data received from the satellite, including image data analysis and interactive graphic display analysis. ADNET also assisted the EO-1 (Earth Observation satellite) Database Administrator to develop scripts to back up and restore project databases. We created an initial program to take reports from the spacecraft, filter out irrelevant information and put the results online. The program also pages users when it finds pre-defined anomalies. ADNET diligently wrote and tested code to perfect the program (SATWATCH). We made numerous improvements on the SatWatch program including making it GMSEC compliant and continue to support EO-1 in its efforts to automate passes.
