 ADNET has provided configuration management, systems administration, science data analysis and database management support to NOAA's National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) organization. We have also provided facility planning assessments and design support to NOAA in determining vital heating, cooling and floor arrangements for their equipment co-located at the NASA IV&V Facility in West Virginia.
Our system engineers worked with NOAA staff to ensure all components of facility installation were properly addressed from physical placement to Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) requirements. Based on our recommendations, additional air circulation units were ordered and installed to ensure proper air flow was achieved across the computing equipment installed.
